An End to Animal Abuse Essay Example for Free

An End to Animal Abuse Essay â€Å"Animals are dying all over the world and becoming endangered species mostly because of animal abuse and cruelty† (James Gorman). It is a worldwide problem that will continue unless people are concerned about it or stop doing it. There should be more laws regulating child labor. Animal abuse stops scientists from researching animals. Animals become endangered species. It also causes psychological effect. Animal abuse must be abolished. One reason animal abuse must be abolished is because it stops scientists from researching other animals. â€Å"Researching animals helped make medicines for terrible diseases.† (James Gorman). One endangered animal is the chimpanzee, which is endangered because of being trapped in cages. Another reason animal abuse should be abolished is that animals die and become endangered species. â€Å"Breeds of horses face endangerment and extinction because of animal abuse.† (www.horsetradition.com). These horses get slaughtered by people for their meat because people think horses can cure HIV. Some horses are killed because of religion. Last reason animal abuse should be abolished is that animal abuse causes psychological effect. â€Å"This means animals are shy and aggressive because of being injured and hurt. The most negative thing about animal abuse is psychological effect.† (James Gorman). As you can see, there are many reasons why there should be more laws regulating animal abuse. Animals getting injured and hurt badly causes many horrible things. It makes scientists give up on their research on animals, animals get close to endangerment or extinction, and most importantly, it will cause effects when animals are hurt. If you see animals getting abused or treated bad, call the ASPCA. They are professionals and save and find homes for animals every day.

Essay --

The background of this case is that a teacher named Kristja J. Falvo had her children attend a school called Owasso Independent School District located in Tulsa Oklahoma. Her children told her that they were too embarrassed to show their work because of a grading practice in their school. What they would do is they would give someone else their homework or test and they would grade each others work and then give them a grade on it. Then after that they would have to call out their grade or say them out loud to the class our say it privately to the teacher. The problem that the Mother was having was that even though they could say their grade bad or good another student from their class would know their grade. So Mrs. Falvo filed a lawsuit on the school for the right of privacy. The lawsuit was filed because Mrs. Falvo felt that her children were embarrassed to show their work to other students even if it was a bad grade that the kids didn't feel confident about. She was afraid that her kids didn't feel as devoted to do their homework, because they knew that the next school day they would have to show how good they did and they don't want that. The other thing is that the kids are also being pressured to do really good on their homework, because the next morning they don't want to feel embarrassed on how bad they did. Her children actually told her that they were embarrassed to show their work. This peer review could lead to very bad problems. It could lead to low self esteem and grow up to someone who is always second guessing themselves. It was a good idea that she filed that lawsuit because the homework checked process was against the child's right to privacy. The argument were that the school district thought that the indi... ...gs and medical instruments for the purpose of doing conception. Anyone who caught doing this is fine or brought to jail or both. Griswold and her Doctor were both fined hundred dollars. So both of them appealed. The ruling was that privacy inside a marriage is off limit to the government. I think this would go under Federal power. I think this because it has to do with the laws. The supreme gathered up to discuss about this case with a leader and they decided on a ruling together. This does infact impact my friends and families. A lot of my friend go to school and my sibling also go to school. Actually we do this same thing in chemistry class except we don’t have any problem about it at least I hope we don’t. Even though this exact problem is not infecting me I still know a lot of people that like to keep their grade hidden and not share them with other people.

Money spent on space researches Essay

Throughout the history of mankind, we humans have always been eager to explore the world and space around us. Many developed countries have been funding the research programs aim at developing and improving the technology for space exploration. On the other hand, several research programs aim at improving the quality of life and providing the basic necessities of life to needy people have not been implemented due to lack of funds, In my opinion money and effort spends on space exploration is a complete a fruitful expenditure for the next generation. The space exploration gives us a vast advantage to the world such as the space exploration helps us understand the universe that we live in; gather knowledge and understanding of different celestial bodies around us.it give us proper information about what’s happening around the world so basically most of countries’ had used to do their daily routing by using non kind of technologies which will help to maintain its country n eeds. Furthermore the space exploration has wind up in the sky while improving its technology now it had already become an indispensible part of every developed countries. Meanwhile space satellites and some other equipment’s had already being situated around the earth; satellites can update its data through the data transmission method that used to communicate between earth and space. Thus sciences had improved gradually in case of space exploration In spite of taking the disadvantages of forecasting, the science had found out the more advance, accurate and fastest technology called weather updates through the satellite and it can detect natural Disasters like storms on before it happens in particular country of state. Nevertheless space exploration is almost interesting concept for most of the people for some reasons as follows; it creates us a clear picture about the space, universe where we are living. In this particular option people were able to use Global Positioning System (GPS) it gives the vast advantages such as finding the position wherever and every corner of the earth. Within this option it can be provide for many purposes nowadays the air transportation increased due to population and everyone’s wanted travel around the world without facing any troubles so the aviation has winded up while using GPS so in this particular time the technology has improved and the GPS systems had already provided in aircrafts. In spite of  taking the risk of passengers on the craft the ingenious scientist had developed the technology. According to new sciences there are plenty of advantages on space exploration. On the other hand space exploration can be help to protect earth from non-kind of destruction on space such as comet, meteors and sudden space explosions. When it does began to floating it carries most destructive parts around space so in this case those exploded meteors can be attempt on our milky way. Throughout that space exploration we humans cannot even find what kind of a distress that earth is going to confront not only earth it could be incidence to another planet too. So in the particular time technology can be help to protect earth. Moreover we have most sophisticated, advanced satellite systems’ which can detect those kind destructive fragments before it’s entering to our ozone layer. So under these, we humans can live safe and sound. In general the population among the countries’ had gradually increasing, the extent of living areas getting reduced. Some other significant resources such as water, pure oxygen levels will be reduce. So that the villages are being transformed into cities and the cities are being more and more populous. Moreover when the population is increasing there should be and limits in wants. So the food industries needs to maintain the market, suppliers of daily necessities must have to go for alternative options to balance the market and people needs. Even though marketers tries to provide alternative options when there is a crisis, in the same way throughout space exploration many of scientists had anticipated and discovering enormous space objects and their researching about the conditions on particular space objects whereas earth the humans can live comfortably on those planets.

Marco Polo s Influence On The World Of The 18th Century

Marco Polo was born in the thirteenth century (1254 A.D.) in Venice, an Italian city-state, and he was very much a man of his time. He had the standard education for a young gentleman — knowledge of classical authors and the basic beliefs of the church, a good grasp of French and Italian, and skills in accounting. This combination is fortunate for us, since his writings offer a window onto the world of the thirteenth century. His knowledge of culture and business made Marco Polo very observant of humans, animals, and plants, as well as anything that might touch upon commercial opportunities. He was observant about cultures that were very different from his own and able to describe them without much bias. European nations and city-states†¦show more content†¦The World Marco Polo Knew The Europe that Marco Polo knew was a collection of small nations and city-states constantly competing with one another. In the north the French empire was the strongest. To the east, northern German and Baltic city-states were united in a loose federation called the Hanseatic League. Scandinavian countries were relatively weak. In the south, southern German states were only loosely united and the Italian citystates were fiercely competitive, with Genoa and Venice especially bitter rivals. (After Marco Polo returned to Venice from China, he participated in a sea battle between Venice and Genoa. He was captured and imprisoned in Genoa, and it was during his imprisonment that he dictated his book.) Nearly all states were involved in wars with one anoother. Either the religious organization — the Roman Catholic Church — or the political entity — the Holy Roman Empire — could have been a unifying force, but they also were also locked in competition for power. In Asia Minor, the power of the Byzantine empire was in decline, and the power of the Turkish Ottoman Empire was increasing. In addition, Europe was still involved in its own Holy War against the infidels — the Crusades. By contrast, the Mongol empire presented for a brief time in the thirteenth century a model of unity.
